Christmas Morning...

We told the boys they couldn't get up till 9:30 am (hey...it was worth a shot!!). At 6 am I could hear little feet running up and down the hall. They did let us sleep until 7:30 when they came in ringing bells to wake us up.

Christmas Eve Cookie Making....

Schappert Get Together

We had a little get together with Robert and his brothers and families to exchange gifts. We had fun. Had fingerfoods and played Cranium (which Robert & Ethan won). The kids played Wii and enjoyed each others company.

Grandma's Fire

The boys played outside at grandmas house and got all wet and had to come in and warm themselves by the fire. As we were leaving we noticed they "helped" us scrape windows while they were out playing. (o:

Chrismtas Break

The boys are already enjoying their time off school. They are busily helping to wrap presents (along with the cats, or so they think). Today they got into the craft paper and Taylor made a shirt?? (o:

Joseph's 1st Grade Party

Joesph's party consisted of making ornaments, cupcake ornaments, playing bingo, having a relay race, having a gift exchange and watching The Grinch that Stole Christmas. His teacher made each of the students a scaft with their inicial on it. She made Joe's blue cause she knew he liked the Boise Broncos.

Taylor's 4th Grade Party

Every year, the 4th grade has a Christmas Pancake Breakfast cooked by the parents. So mom went down and flipped about 75 - 100 pancakes. The kids enjoyed it. Then later that morning they had their party. They played a game and made an angel ornament and pass out all the goodies they each got all the other kids.

Barker Christmas

After our annual Barker Christmas Dinner, Santa Claus came. Joseph was telling grandpa afterwards all the similarities that this Santa and Grandpa dad in common. It was funny listening to him.

PUTTING UP THE TREE

Last year the boys each got a tote that they got to put all their own decorations in. This year, they broke out their totes and we decorated the tree with JUST their ornaments. It fills the tree! They had fun going through them and finding just the right spot for them. Taylor got to put on the star but he wasn't so sure about sitting so high up on daddy's shoulders! (o:
